Supply and Demand on the surface seems like a simple concept, but its influence can often be misinterpreted.  There aren’t many indulgences better than a warm Krispy Kreme donut.  Of course, my problem is I can’t eat just one; more like 3 or 4.  Then I take a nap.

Market Update June 2016: The Brexit Effect

I’m in the middle of producing a video series using the acronym T.R.E.N.D., where each letter stands for a specific dynamic that will determine what I believe will be a down trend for the stock market in 2016.  All the markets sold off roughly 3.5% on Friday, with the Dow dropping over 600 points, because the citizens of Britain chose, by referendum, to leave the European Union.  I don’t believe the market’s reaction to the Brexit is the specific beginning of the down trend, but it is an important piece of the puzzle that we will ultimately witness this year.
